Long, fun day

We went to Naval Base Beach in Coronado today with my mom, Liz, Alex & Joseph. We met up with my Uncle Gary (a retired Navy Admiral) and all his family. It was so fun to see all the cousins and their kids (even some I've never met!) It was a long car ride there (lots of crying babies and traffic), but back was good (even though I was a bit on edge about getting on the road). The coolest part was being on the base RIGHT by the airfield. We literally had to stop in the car to let a plane land or it might've hit us. We also saw 2 huge carriers, one the USS Ronald Reagan. And having Uncle Gary there to explain it all was awesome! And of course, I left my camera in the car!!
