Sorry about no pictures. I got the camera out several times this weekend, but the batteries were out. It is now charging and the next post should have some pictures for your pleasure.
Friday, Ryan had the day off so we could visit his mom in the hospital. She had knee replacement surgery on the 17th. We went down and saw her in her "penthouse room" at Hoag in Newport (which is also where Ryan was born!). She was on the top floor, corner room, with a 180 degree view of the ocean. It was awesome. We headed to Wahoo's for lunch (where Mia eats all the guacamole with a spoon), then Mia & I went to my parents' for a nap. Ryan picked his mom up from the hospital and got her settled at home, then picked us up. We spent the afternoon/evening hanging at the Phelps'. We slept at my parents (who returned from a trip late Friday night), spent the morning with them, then headed back to the Phelps'. Mia was in love with all the outdoor fun at both places and was outside the whole time. We headed home in the afternoon to attend Stake Conference. Ryan had a meeting at 4pm and I joined him at 7pm (thanks to Aunt Lizzie for watching Mia!!). Sunday, we had the general meeting at 10am followed by a baptism of a new family. We then relaxed until our friends came over to watch The Amazing Race. We packed quite a bit in 3 days!
This week is slow until the weekend when we are busy-busy!! More on that later. Be back soon with some pictures of silly Mia.
