Today is Ryan's 30th birthday! Happy Birthday, my love. And this is just a few reason why is the very best husband, friend, brother, son, and father ever!
He is a babe! And he takes care of me. For example, last night I had a meeting. When I came home, he had drawn me a bath complete with candles so I could relax my sad body (having major sciatic nerve problem...headed to PT for help). And he did it on his birthday's eve!
He is my best friend. And he is a true and loyal friend to many. He can light up a room and make you laugh even if you really didn't think you could. When he was searching for his first job (which was a loooong process), he was always told that he was a perfect fit for the team and everyone loved him. Seriously, they always said that.
He is the best father. The girls love him. Almost every night, they love waiting on the porch for Daddy's car and get so excited when they see it coming down the road. He also loves to play with them and with their friends. Example...he was playing with the neighbor-kids a couple weeks ago, I think freeze tag or something. The next day, 4 year-old Kate came over to ask Mia to play. Mia had fallen asleep (by some small miracle), so then she asked if Ryan was home and could play.
He sets goals and always accomplishes them. I am the pessimist in the family, but he always amazing me by what he wants to do and does. The BYU? No problem. Investment Banking? Been there, done that. Dream job at Tarsadia? Got it. He also helps me accomplish my goals, like running a 5k and completing triathlons. He is now getting ready for a half marathon in January and is right on track to do great. Of course!
He is a wonderful, worthy priesthood holder that always answers the call. He hears the Spirit and does what he is told. And sometimes, it is takes a lot of courage. How lucky am I to have him in my life? SO LUCKY!
