Irvine Park

Yesterday, we went to Irvine Regional Park in the OC. It isn't in Irvine, which is a little confusing. But it was a lot of fun! We went with my sister and nephews and Mom. We rode the train, the ponies (Mia wasn't quite sure, but the nice lady said to give it a minute and she would calm down. She did and she loved it!), and went to the Orange County Zoo. The zoo was the funniest, little thing you've ever seen, but it was a nice capper to the day. And the little black bear pearched on top of a tall tree trunk was cool to watch. Mia also liked feeding the goats. We all forgot our cameras, so the pony lady took a couple pics with my cell phone.

I highly recommend it on your next trip to the OC and remember to pack a lunch! (we forgot and it would have been fun to enjoy the surroundings)

i love that little tiny zoo! it is so good for little kids. it takes about 5 minutes to see every animal, and really, how much time do you REALLY want to spend at a stinky zoo, anyway. looks like fun. i miss the oc.

yay for Irvine Park! We have so many fun memories of going there when we were little, it's so fun to bring your own kids back to all the places that seemed so big to you way back when!
